Byron Banks is one the transitional coordinators for the Bridges to the Future at the Montgomery County Federation of Families for Children’s Mental Health. In this role he helps youth and young adults create goals and help them transition from the teenage years through the early stages of becoming an adult. He strives to help the youth have bright outlook for their future and bridging the gaps along the way.

Byrons background ranges from psychology, to hospitality, to music and Mentoring. He was a previous job coach for individuals with developmental disabilities, where he trained individuals the basic skills need to acquire jobs in retail and fast food. Byron was also a Certified Medical Technician where he administered medicine and hourly supervision to elder individuals with disabilities. While in the Institute of Audio research he was the sound engineer for internet radio as well as live performances. When not working for Bridges to the Future, Byron works in the corporate and entertainment world set up events that range from live performances, to international business meetings to candlelight vigils.

Byron has a passion for Art, music, and history. He enjoys creating music, playing the piano, writing poetry as well as attending concerts art exhibits and symposiums
